Cornish Arts and Crafts Metalwork Exhibition and Book

Following on from the success of the Newlyn Copper Book and Exhibitions I am pleased to announce that the work of some of the principal craftsmen associated with Newlyn Copper will feature in a major new exhibition to be held at the Royal Cornwall Museum in 2011. The exhibition will coincide with my new book which will feature biographies of Arts and Crafts metal workers from Cornwall and will be full of  illustrations and photographs.

Prestigeous Award for Newlyn Copper Book

I am very excited to announce that the Newlyn Copper book was awarded a prestigeous Holyer An Gof Award by the Cornish Gorsedd (the Gorsedd promotes Cornish Culture and language around the world)

Newlyn Silver Inkwell

A Newlyn Silver Inkwell made by Reg Dick for the Fishemans Mission in Newlyn recently sold at Campbells Auctioneers in Sussex for £5000. The inkwell is one of only two known examples of Newlyn Silver inkwells, and was decorated with the typial Newlyn decoration of fish, shells, and sea weed (the other example was decorated with apples).
